Gaea Holdings houses a close-knit team of professionals who have over 30 years of combined skills and experience. The team is based in the Western Cape and is dedicated to providing tailor made financial and accounting services to all clients.

As qualified professionals we have the necessary capabilities to serve clients in many different industries and types of business. Our experience within the private and public sectors have provided us with a unique understanding and perspective. It has also equipped us with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist, support and develop our clients within their respective industries.

Muhammed Asgar Dalvie

Founder and Managing Director

Asgar has over 10 years’ experience in management and executive roles within the technology, film and tourism industries. 

His entrepreneurship journey started in 2014 when he founded Metis Advisory Services, a company which initially focused on the drafting of financial statements. Over time the services being offered have subsequently grown which led to the formation of Elpis Consulting. Elpis offers accounting and financial services as well as company secretarial services. 

Asgar’s passion lies with the development of small to medium enterprises, he has the acute ability to recognize the potential within these small industries, and uses his knowledge and expertise to ensure that they have a solid foundation from which to grow.

 Qualifications:

Asgar is qualified AGA(SA). 

Allie Pangarker: 

Director at Metis Advisory Services

Allie was appointed as a Director of Metis Advisory Services during September 2017. He completed his training contract at PKF Cape Town Inc. In 2014, PKF Cape Town Inc. merged with Grant Thornton Cape Inc. and Allie was promoted to audit manager. Over the years, Allie has gained significant exposure to the retail, property, financial services, and manufacturing sectors.

Allie has 10 years of financial experience and he is passionate about business development along with a great knowledge of governance.

Allie also serves in an non-executive capacity for various non-profit organisations.

 Qualifications:

Allie is qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) 

Muneeba Gaffoor: 

Director at Elpis Consulting

Muneeba Gaffoor was appointed the Director of Elpis Consulting during August 2020. She started her career at Ernst & Young in 2009. After her articles she stayed on to manage the Pension Fund portfolio of EY based primarily at Old Mutual Plc.

In 2014, Muneeba moved on Santam Ltd, where she became the Regulatory and Compliance Manager for Santam Group.

In 2018, an additional role was accepted as the Reinsurance Finance Manager and Product Owner of the Reinsurance Optimisation Finance Project.

Muneeba has 10 years of financial experience augmented by excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

In her current role at Elpis, her focus is on small business development and growth. 

Qualifications:

Muneeba is qualified CA(SA) with an Honours in Taxation.
